... a place for silence, solitude, prayer and reflection |
Christ in the Wilderness provides an environment of solitude and silence. Retreatants come from around the country and from various walks of life. Many return year after year. Frequently there is a waiting list.
Retreat income does not cover operating expenses. Fees are deliberately kept affordable to ensure that Christ in the Wilderness will be available for all those who choose to come.
After almost thirty years of operation, there is need for additional funding. Buildings are aging. Structures built in the early eighties now need more than routine maintenance. Ordinary income does not cover major repairs, let alone extraordinary expenses. |
||
In August 1998, a Development Board was established to plan for the financial future of Christ in the Wilderness. The Board is committed to ensuring that Chrst in the Wilderness will be here for future generations of retreatants.
We need donors who believe in the importance of our mission and are committed to keeping this center available for all who cherish a place of quiet, serenity, and solitude. |
||
Christ in the Wilderness presently has future plans to build a handicapped hermitage. Many of our faithful retreatants are aging and many are not able to come to retreat any more.
We seek individuals, corporations and foundations that will include Christ in the Wilderness among the organizations they support annually.
May we add you to our growing list of annual donors? |
