Grateful, I am for this place of respite. The silence supports my desire to go deep within and listen there. With the quiet, I can hear my heart beat and it is as if God is tapping in my heart, reminding me that I am never alone.
I leave strengthened by the reminder of who I am and who walks with me.
I am aware more fully also that God is ever present with all others, as well, and hope to respond as such.
